200hr Mindfulness and Leadership Training for Yogis
our mission
The Maha Vira Yoga Mindfulness and Leadership Teacher Training is a comprehensive training for compassionate leaders and for those who wish to deepen their own experience and understanding of Yoga. This aim is achieved first by cultivating a personal practice, then learning how to share and offer this practice to others. In addition to being an opportunity to obtain the qualifications for becoming a certified Yoga instructor, Yoga teacher training often times becomes a great vehicle for personal growth. With this in mind, our teachers and staff seek to provide a learning environment that is safe and fully supports each student’s desire to learn, while also providing the tools to enable deeper self exploration. Students of this training should walk away passionate, self-aware, ready to serve and take the seat of a teacher.
What is Maha Vira?
In Sanskrit, Maha = Great, Vira = Hero; the Warrior’s Path. In this training, we will pursue the teachings of Yoga--the mental, physical, and spiritual disciplines--that allow us to tap into our highest potential and serve the highest good. Within each of us is the capacity for greatness. The practice of Yoga aims to unlock that potential so that it shines brightly into the world.

“Maha Vira Yoga provided a thorough and excellent program for the 200 HR YTT. It covered many components of yoga including asana, philosophy, sanskrit, and ayurveda and I felt fully prepared to start teaching upon graduation. Would highly recommend!”
